Since the entry into force of the Kyoto Protocol in 2005, the goal of reducing the emission of greenhouse gases, the search for alternatives that contribute to meet the objective. From this problematic that emerged several concepts and actions that lead to the quality of the environment and the reduction of greenhouse gases, concepts such as Carbon Credits or Bonds and Environmental Services emerged as environmental practices in terms of compensation.
DAP has forest reserves maintained not only complying with the National Legal Regulation to maintain 25% of its forests, it also has an area of more than 1500 hectares registered under the name of Environmental Services. It is in this way that the DAP Group, assuming its environmental responsibility and through its forest reserves in all the Farms in which it operates, maintains its regional and global commitment to the protection of the environment and the reduction of greenhouse gases.
